Ordering, Delivery, and First Impressions…

We picked up our box of Warrior Raw High Protein Flapjacks on Amazon.

As usual, ordering was really easy and they were delivered within a couple of days.

Our order was packaged well enough and arrived intact, with no damage to the box or the bars themselves.

The packaging itself looks pretty good. The images are an accurate depiction of what you actually get and you can tell that some thought has gone into the design.

On the back of the box is the standard nutrition facts panel, along with the list of ingredients.

The individual wrappers are well-sealed while being easy enough to open without having to rip at them and have the bar fall out onto the floor.

Once opened you have a pretty tasty-looking bar-shaped flapjack that looks just like a chocolate brownie.

It even smells like a chocolate brownie too.

Nutrition…

Nutritionally Warrior Raw high-protein flapjacks easily hold their own among the other brands out there.

They have a decent amount of protein they’re not too carb-heavy and they’re low in sugars and fat making them extremely versatile.

They also have a decent amount of fibre to keep things moving and keep you feeling fuller for longer between meals.

One thing to bear in mind is that they do contain gluten which will rule them out for some people.

Texture and Taste…

The bars are firm, pretty solid, and not greasy like some flapjacks are.

When you bite into one of these bars they don’t crumble or anything, they have a dry-ish biscuit-like texture while being firm but not difficult to chew.

In terms of taste, they really do taste like a chocolate brownie.

They taste natural too with no artificial or chemical taste to them plus they’re not too sweet either, just sweet enough in our opinion.

They also have some substance to them, they give you something to go at, they don’t just dissolve in your mouth, the flavour lasts a while and they’re pretty nice to eat.

Side Effects…

Warrior Raw high-protein flapjacks are also easy to digest.

There’s no bloating from them or stomach aches and excessive wind.

They don’t overfill you either, no more than a small light snack would.

When To Use Them…

These flapjacks are a really convenient way to get some high-quality protein on the go, especially when measuring out and mixing up your regular whey protein shake isn’t convenient.

You can use them at any time of the day you need a protein hit, and you may find them useful to take pre-workout for an added energy boost and to help prevent muscle breakdown during training, as well as after a workout to get some quality protein into your muscles to kick-start the recovery process.

Who They Are For…

Anyone looking to increase their daily protein intake in a tasty, healthy, and convenient way will certainly benefit from using these bars, and in particular, those looking to increase muscle mass without gaining unwanted body fat, anyone looking to lose some body fat while holding onto hard-earned muscle, and anyone looking to maintain a lean and toned physique.

Customer Opinion…

To get both sides of the story on Warrior Raw high protein flapjacks from as many reliable reviewers as possible we took a look at the customer feedback being left on Amazon by people buying and using them right now.

At the time of writing, these high-protein flapjack bars have an average customer feedback score of 4.3 out of 5 stars, and this is from 418 customer reviews.

A pretty impressive 62% of people are giving these bars the full 5 out of 5 stars while a further 17% are rating them 4 star, indicating that the vast majority of existing customers are very happy with them and with the service they are getting from Amazon.

Some of the things they are most impressed with are the protein content, the flavour, and the price, none of which comes as a surprise as there’s around 21g protein per bar, they taste amazing and they’re pretty good value for money too.

They also like that these bars are low in carbs, sugar, and fat which makes them versatile enough to be used for gaining muscle, losing fat, and muscle maintenance and also easy to fit right into just about every eating plan.

And they also like the convenience that comes with protein bars which allows them to get the protein they need, when they need it, without needing to carry a shaker bottle, a bottle of water, or be measuring out protein powder when they don’t have the time for whatever reason.

There are some customers who are giving Warrior Raw high protein flapjacks just 3 stars or less due to them having issues with the taste which they say can vary, and the bars not being suitable for anyone following a vegetarian or a vegan diet.

A couple of customers say that they found the bars to be very hard to chew, and one customer claims to have received a box with one bar missing.

That being said, its clear that on the whole the vast motility of customers, ourselves included, are very happy with these high protein flapjacks and if you’d like to check out all the customer feedback for yourself just click here.

A Quick Look At The Main Features…

  • HUGE 21 GRAMS OF PROTEIN PER BAR – That’s more than 3 whole eggs! Our bars are packed with high-quality milk protein to help muscles rebuild and recover after training and to help you meet your daily protein intake
  • LOW IN SUGAR, HIGH IN FIBRE – With only 3.5g sugar per bar, these are some of the lowest sugar protein chewy granola bars ever released! Also high in fibre to help control blood sugar levels
  • USE PRE OR POST WORKOUT – Eat pre-workout for an energy boost or post workout to help aid recovery. Ideal for cutting or bulking when counting your macros
  • GREAT TASTE! CHOCOLATE BROWNIE – Chewy granola oat bar that can be eaten as a filling snack to help keep you satisfied until your next meal and curb cravings for high sugar snacks
  • PACK OF 12 x PROTEIN BARS – Save money with this multipack of 12 high protein bars. Store at home to eat as and when needed. Can be used as part of a healthy diet to help manage weight gain

As you can see above each bar has a pretty decent amount of quality protein with around 20g being the industry standard amount.

They’re also low in sugar, which is always a bonus, plus they have a decent amount of fibre to keep things moving.

We wouldn’t exactly call them chewy granola bars though as they are quite firm and definitely a flapjack bar.

The taste is everything that Warrior claims it to be, these bars are really delicious and they will keep you going in between meals without being over-filling or heavy on your stomach.

And they are pretty good value for money too, and so well worth stocking up on, and as we’ve already mentioned they are really easy to slot right into any diet plan to support a range of training goals including weight loss.

Our Verdict…

We really like Warrior bars and for us, these make a really great alternative to Warrior Crunch bars, which, if you’re anything like us, you’ll agree take some beating.

As well as being delivered pretty quickly and arriving well packaged and undamaged they’ve got quite a bit going for them in our opinion.

First of all at 20g per bar they have a decent amount of protein while being pretty low in sugars, carbs, and fat.

This makes them pretty versatile and means they can be easily slotted into just about any eating plan to support a variety of training goals.

Next, they taste really good – just like chocolate brownies, plus they also taste nice and natural and they’re not too sweet either.

We also like the texture of these flapjacks. They’re firm but not hard and they don’t fall to pieces when you take a bite, plus they’re not greasy either, just really nice to eat.

And they don’t sit heavily on your gut which makes them good to eat pre-workout too.

As for any drawbacks, we would have preferred them to be gluten-free, however, the amount of gluten they actually contain must be pretty small otherwise we would have noticed the effects and not been as happy with them as we are.

If you’re looking for a tasty and healthy alternative to your existing choice of protein bar we highly recommend checking out Warrior Raw high protein flapjacks for yourself…

Where To Get The Best Deal On Them…

We recommend checking out these bars over at Amazon before looking anywhere else.

Amazon usually has the best prices, plus they also have pretty detailed product listings so you can check them out and make sure you’re getting exactly what you want.

The customer reviews are also great for seeing just how a product is performing in the real world for real people, and the customer answered questions can quite often clear up any loose ends.

After doing your research on Amazon we recommend going over to eBay and comparing prices.

Ebay sellers usually offer free delivery regardless of the price, whereas Amazon usually has a £20 minimum spend to qualify for free delivery and so it’s well worth comparing the 2 sites if you’re looking for the best deal.

Handpicked Alternatives…

Here we have selected a couple of our favourite alternative choices just in case Warrior Raw high-protein flapjacks aren’t what you are looking for.

Grenade Carb Killa Bars…

Our first choice is a massively popular choice the world over, and that is Grenade Carb Killa Bars.

These bars taste phenomenal and are perfect if you’re looking for something with a chewier texture than you get with a flapjack.

They also have a decent amount of protein, they’re low in carbs, fat, sugar, and calories, and can be slotted right into any eating plan to support pretty much any training goal. Read the full review here.

Here’s an overview…

  • Packed with protein, with 20 g per bar
  • Low in sugar, with just 1.4 g per bar
  • A triple-layered treat, featuring a tasty salted caramel layer, soft nougat, and a delicious milk chocolate coating
  • Carb Killa is an indulgent low sugar snack, perfect for enjoying at any time of the day as a delicious snack, or a post-workout treat

Warrior Crunch High Protein Bars…

Our second alternative choice is Warrior Crunch high protein bars which also taste pretty amazing and will make a great choice if you’re looking for a protein bar with a texture that’s somewhere between that of Warrior Raw flapjacks and Grenade Carb Killa bars.

When it comes down to the difference between Warrior Crunch and Warrior Raw bars it basically comes down to the carb content and which texture you prefer.

Warrior Crunch bars are lower in carbs and are a triple-layered bar with a soft chewy centre coated in crunchy bits, and Warrior Raw are a firmer flapjack style bar as described in this review. Read the full Warrior Crunch bar review here.

Warrior Crunch High Protein Bars Review

Warrior Crunch Bars are a high-protein, low-sugar, low-carb nutrition bar designed to help build muscle, maintain a lean and toned physique year-round, preserve muscle during weight loss and provide a convenient and clean source of quality nutrition.

We liked the sound of them, we’d heard good things about them…

So, we ordered some and put them to the test…

In this review, we will focus on the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour and cover the main features, as well as share with you our own personal experience from ordering through to using them, before also taking a look at what other customers have to say about them, in order to give you as much accurate information as possible in case you decide to try them for yourself.

We will also tell you where to go to pick up your Warrior Crunch bars at the best price and with the fastest and most cost-effective, if not free home delivery.

If you would prefer to give the review a miss and go and grab yourself a box of these bars you can click here to go straight over to Amazon…

Or …

You can click here to see if you can get a better deal on eBay…

First Impressions…

The bars were delivered quickly and came well packaged and intact.

The actual box containing the bars isn’t the strongest but it’s sufficient for what it has to do and the wrappers are pretty much what you would expect-industry standard.

The nutrition facts and ingredients are clearly displayed so you can see exactly what you’re getting in each bar.

Looking at the bars themselves, you can see that they have a knobbly chocolate coating that actually makes them look crunchy.

Nutrition…

Warrior Crunch bars are pretty good in our opinion in terms of nutrition.

Each 64g bar has 20g of protein, which is pretty much the standard amount you’ll find in most protein bars.

You also get 22g of carbs, of which less than 3g are impact carbs meaning they are broken down by the body for energy, the remaining 19g don’t have an effect on your blood sugar levels making these bars a good choice for weight control.

There’s also 11g of fat in each bar, of which only 6.3g saturates to keep things on the healthy side, along with 0.7g of sugars.

Dark Chocolate Peanut Crunch bars have 236 calories per bar too which makes them pretty versatile, however not much different to Grenade Carb Killa bars in this respect.

Crunch Bars also contain a small amount of salt, some soya, and gluten, and are ‘naturally sweetened with malitol which is an artificially produced sweetener’

What They’re Actually Like To Eat…

Take a bite and you can see that they are made up of a chocolate outer coating around a layer of crunchy bits in a caramel like layer, around a firm yet chewy centre.

They also smell chocolatey too, just like a regular chocolate bar.

When you bite into one of these bars you immediately hit the crunchy bits before getting to the softer centre and when you begin chewing the flavour comes out immediately.

In terms of the flavour, it’s pretty natural, the bars aren’t overly sweet and there’s no artificial aftertaste.

They are actually pretty delicious.

The chocolate outer coating does have a tendency to crumble away from the rest of the bar though when you take a bite so be prepared for that.

In terms of texture the bars are actually a mixture of crunchy and chewy and don’t just melt away into nothing in your mouth, nor do you have to almost break your jaws chewing them either, you actually get to chew, taste and enjoy them.

It also has to be said that if you have a bit of a sweet tooth, and not much will power you could end up munching your way through 2 or 3 of these bars as they really do taste pretty good and don’t fill you up too much, so be warned.

Side Effects…

None that we came across.

Warrior Crunch bars go down really well with no stomach upsets, bloating or excessive wind.

They are nice and light on the stomach too and don’t leave you feeling sluggish or anything like that after eating them.

Main Features…

  • 20 GRAMS OF PROTEIN PER BAR – That’s more than three whole eggs! Our bars are packed with high quality Protein to help muscles re-build and recover right after intense exercise or sports
  • LOW CARBS – Each crunch bar contains less than 3g of impact carbs, making them ideal for those following a Keto diet and looking to control weight gain
  • LOW SUGAR – With less than 3g of sugar, these High Protein bars help keep blood sugar levels low so you can maintain energy levels for longer
  • CHEWY CRISPY SNACK BAR – Made with crunchy crispy pieces covered in a triple layer of chocolate. High protein bars that taste as good as any other snack!
  • PACK OF 12 PROTEIN BARS – 12 individually wrapped, High Protein bars. Enjoy post-workout or as part of your chosen diet plan
  • Ingredients: Dark maltitol chocolate coating (31%) (cocoa mass, sweetener maltitol, cocoa butter, emulsifier soya lecithin, bourbon-vanilla), protein blend (milk protein, collagen hydrolysate, soya protein isolate), caramel layer with sweetener (18%) (sweetener maltitol, condensed milk, palm fat, humectant sorbitol, emulsifier mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, flavouring, water, salt, colour plain caramel), soya crispies (8.6%) (soya protein isolate, rice flour, barley malt extract (gluten), salt), humectant glycerol, water, palm fat, cocoa powder, flavouring, palm oil

As you can see above, Warrior Crunch bars contain a decent amount of protein at 20g per bar, which is at the top end of what you’ll find in other leading bars.

It’s a triple-protein-blend of milk protein, collagen hydrolysate and soya protein isolate and NOT a 100% whey protein meaning that gram for gram they don’t have the same nutritional content as a top protein powder.

One thing we really like about these bars is their really low carb and sugar content which makes them pretty versatile and means they can be slotted right into pretty much any diet, nutrition and training plan to support pretty much all fitness goals.

Absolutely no complaints whatsoever here about the taste either.

We’ve tried a few different flavours and really enjoyed them all, apart from just one-Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake.

Here’s how we rank them in terms of flavour…

  1. Milk Chocolate Coconut

  2. Salted Caramel

  3. White Chocolate Crisp

  4. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter

That being said, in terms of tastiness there’s not really that much between them, they all taste pretty amazing and in our opinion certainly give Grenade’s Carb Killa bars a run for their money.

These bars do contain gluten, and they are sweetened with maltitol which is a sugar-alcohol and almost identical to sucrose.

And like most protein bars they come in boxes of 12 and are easy to take with you wherever you’re going for a quick and convenient protein hit whenever you need one.

When To Use…

You can use Warrior Crunch bars at pretty much any time of day you need some protein.

They are good to use pre-workout for some extra energy as well as to reduce muscle breakdown as you train.

You can use them after workouts In place of your usual go-to protein powder to kick-start recovery and growth, as well as in between meals as a healthy high-protein snack.

They are a fantastic source of protein-on-the-go for busy people.

You can also use them to replace meals as part of a weight management plan.

Who They’re For…

These bars are for anyone looking to boost their daily protein intake in order to repair and build new muscle.

They are also a great choice for anyone who wants to maintain an already lean and toned physique all year long.

If you’re looking to add some muscle without adding any fat Warrior Crunch bars can help you do that.

If you’re looking to drop a few pounds without losing any of your hard earned muscle, these bars are a good choice here too.

They are also a clean and healthy option for people who just need some quality protein on the run, they fit right into a ketogenic diet too.

Our Verdict…

We like these bars a lot.

They taste really good and natural. There’s no nasty aftertaste from them, or anything chemical about the flavour.

There’s also a decent amount of substance to them too. They don’t just dissolve in your mouth. Instead they’re crunch and chewy, firm but not hard like you would expect a decent chocolate bar to be.

They go down well too. Not heavy on the stomach and there’s no bloating, cramps or excessive wind either.

We also like that they have enough calories to be used to help with weight loss without losing muscle, and also for muscle gain without piling on the fat.

And we also feel that they’re pretty healthy too.

The downside…we would have preferred them to be gluten and soya free, however, we’ve tried quite a few of these bars and not suffered any adverse effects at all, and so we highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality, great tasting protein bar.

While a further 14% give them a 4 star rating.

We think these numbers speak for themselves and show that the vast majority of people buying and using these bars are very satisfied with them.

They seem to be liking pretty much everything about them from the taste and the texture, to how satisfying they are, and some reviewers are even calling them addictive.

There are some customers who aren’t quite as happy with them and who are giving them 3 stars or less because they say the flavour didn’t live up to their expectations and a couple of them received damaged bars.

If you do have a few minutes, we’ll start by having a look at the key features of the PhD Nutrition Smart Bar, and then we’ll get straight into the full review.

The PhD Nutrition Smart Bar Review…

Key product features:

  • Great tasting, triple layered bar
  • High Protein- 20g protein per bar
  • Low Carbs and Low Sugar- 0.4-1.9g of sugar per bar
  • Palm oil free
  • Convenient healthy on the go snack

The Smart Bars themselves are made up of three different layers.

First there’s the main layer which is a slab of nougat like chocolate peanut butter.

This is surrounded by crunchy, crispy, flaky bits which add to the overall texture of the bar.

On top of this there is a third layer of delicious gooey caramel, and then the whole thing has a generous coating of milk chocolate.

Each bar also contains 20 g of protein.

This is slightly less than the Quest Protein Bars which contain 21 g, and the Grenade Carb Killa bars which have over 23 g.

The protein in Smart Bars is a blend made up of  milk protein, collagen hydrolysate, and soya protein isolate.

Milk Protein is an excellent source of calcium, high in branch chain amino acids and low in fat.

Collagen hydrolysate supports joint and connective tissue health and it also helps the body’s natural ability to heal and repair muscle tissues broken down during workouts.

Soya protein isolate contains more arginine than whey protein and is essential for muscle growth.

PhD Nutrition Smart Bars are also pretty low in fat and carbs, however they do contain slightly more than Carb Killa Bars, and Quest bars.

Thankfully these bars don’t contain any palm oil, which is high in unhealthy saturated fat.

What About The Taste And Texture…

These bars taste great!

In fact, they’re very tasty indeed considering the low sugar content.

Probably even better than the popular ones in your local sweet shop.

They actually taste like a really indulgent chocolate bar, sweet, but not too sweet.

They have the kind of taste you just want to hold in your mouth and never swallow.

Texture wise, Smart Bars are firm yet soft when you bite into them. Definitely not dry and crumbly.

They have a soft, crunchy and chewy texture about them, not too chewy, melt in your mouth kind of chewy.

And when the different layers merge together in your mouth you know you’re onto something special.

What Others Are Saying…

As you’ve probably guessed, we really like these bars, so to help you get some more varied feedback on them, here’s what’s being said about them by users on Amazon who have actually tried them for themselves…phd smart bar reviewAs you can see 197 people have left reviews and a pretty impressive 68% of them gave PhD Nutrition Smart Bar the full 5 out of 5 star rating…

With a further 16% of them giving it 4 stars…

And only 8% of them rating it a 1 star product.

Going by these figures it’s pretty clear that the vast majority of people who have actually tried these bars, are very happy with them.

Best Time To Use Them…

And due to the fact it is highly convenient you can take it with you anywhere, whether it’s on a leisurely walk, as a post-workout snack or when you’re away on holiday.

You can even use it as toppings for home-made recipes too such as; pancakes, overnight oats etc.

Main features…

  • CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH: Our best-selling bar is like sneaking a spoonful of cookie dough straight from the bowl. But no need to sneak when your #Cheat Clean treat has 4g net carbs* and a whopping 21 g of protein!
  • CHEAT CLEAN. Eat toward your goals and love every bite along the way! With 20-21 grams of protein and plenty of fiber, these all natural delicious protein bars are soy-free, gluten-free, have no added sugar or unnecessary carbs.

  • PROTEIN BAR OF THE YEAR. GNC’s 2012 and 2013 Protein Bar of the Year, Quest Nutrition pushes forward daily on their mission to transform global health and eliminate obesity for good. Welcome to the Quest!

Here’s Our Full Review Of The Quest Nutrition Protein Bar…

As you have probably already noticed, these protein bars each contain 21 g of protein. This is slightly less in comparison than the 23 g you get in Grenade Carb Killa bars, but still a decent amount.

Each Quest bar also contains 4 g Net Carbs, <1 g Sugars, 14 g Dietary Fiber,  8 g Fat and 200 Calories, along with Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Almonds and Natural Flavors.

They also have no added sugar and are sweetened with Erythritol, Sucralose and Stevia to keep the calorie count down.

Best Time To Use Them…

According to the manufacturers, you can eat your Quest Nutrition Protein Bar at any time of the day as a meal replacement, as part of a well-regulated diet.

We wouldn’t recommend using them to replace more than 2 meals per day.

Quest nutrition bars are a good source of pre-workout nutrition, full of muscle-preserving protein as well as containing carbs and fats to fuel your workouts.

They also make a pretty good post-workout snack, again the protein helps kickstart the growth and recovery process while that cars and fats help replenish energy levels until your next meal.

These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars are great by themselves…

…but you can also bake them into a delicious meal, dessert or breakfast treat.

Whichever way you choose to enjoy it, a Quest Nutrition Protein Bar is a tasty cheat treat with a great nutritional profile that you can eat at anytime of the day.

A Closer Look At What’s In Them…

You’ll notice the protein blend in these bars is very good.  Whey protein isolate is the best form of whey known. It’s higher in protein, and lower in carbs, fat and lactose than whey protein concentrate. It’s also more expensive.

Milk Protein Isolate is micellar casein, a slower digesting protein for a more sustained supply over a longer period. Great for keeping you feeling fuller and helping you resist snacking.

As you can see, these bars do contain nuts, so if you have any nut allergies we would not recommend you using these protein bars.

Texture And How They Taste…

To be honest we found these bars a little on the hard side.

Not ‘break your teeth hard’, but certainly harder than being just chewy.

We think that the taste makes up for the hardness though.

These bars really do taste pretty great…

…definitely on a par with Carb Killa, and Protein Crisp bars.

Couldn’t honestly tell you what any of the other flavours are like though…

…we never managed to get past the choc chip cookie dough ones!

Whether it’s the novelty of a new flavour, or a matter of our personal tastes, we think these Quest Nutrition Protein bars taste amazing.

As you can see a massive 13,126 people have left a review. And an impressive 65% of them have given Quest Nutrition Protein Bars a full 5 out of 5 stars rating.

And a further 10% rate these bars a 4 star product.

While at the other end of the scale only 12% gave it 1 star.

Price And Value For Money…

At the time of writing you can pick up a 24 x 60 g bar pack of Quest Nutrition Protein Bars for $47.49.

Best Place To Buy Your Quest Nutrition Protein Bars…

To be sure you’re getting the best deal on your Quest Nutrition Bars, we recommend first heading over to Amazon and checking out all the product information there.

We also recommend paying particular attention to the customer reviews as well as the customer answered questions to get a balanced picture of how these protein bars are performing for real people in the real world.

Once you’ve completed your research, and you’re happy with everything and ready to buy, we then recommend going over to eBay to see if you can get a better deal there, it does happen and so is well worth spending a couple of minutes checking.

Be sure to take any additional delivery charges into account before ordering as they can tip the balance and turn the best deal into the second-best deal.

Amazon and eBay sellers both deliver pretty quickly, however we have found that Amazon has the edge here even when you don’t take their free Prime Trial Offer, so if you need your protein bars in a hurry, Amazon is the place to buy from.

Final Verdict…

We think these are a great-tasting, nutritious, high-protein meal replacement bar.

The only downside, in our opinion, is the texture in that we find them a little too hard.

Please bear in mind here that is just our opinion.  We are by no means saying they are hard enough to break your teeth…they’re not.

Otherwise, they have a great nutritional profile and a decent amount of quality proteins, both fast and slow digesting.

They are also low in carbs and fat and have only 190 calories per 60 g bar…

…making them an ideal meal replacement if you’re cutting calories at the moment.

Plus they’re also soy and gluten-free and don’t contain any added sugars.

Quest protein bars are also great to take around your workout as either a pre-workout muscle sparing fuel source or as a post-workout recovery aid.

They are also great for anyone who needs some extra protein for building muscle, and who doesn’t want to gain any fat.

We recommend Quest Nutrition Protein Bars if you’re looking for a delicious meal replacement bar that’s high in quality protein and low in carbs and fat.

Grenade Carb Killa Bars Review-Are They The Best Tasting Protein Bars EVER?

Our posts may contain affiliate links and if you buy something through one of those links, we could earn a small commission from the vendor which goes towards the upkeep of this site and WON’T cost you a penny more.

In this review we are going to be looking at Grenade Carb Killa Bars to find out just what’s making this high protein, low-carb snack so popular.

These bars are dominating Amazon where, at the time of writing, they are outselling just about every other protein bar at an alarming rate.

Carb Killa High Protein bars are aimed at people looking for something to snack on between meals that’s high in protein and low in unwanted carbs.

They are widely used by professional athletes and military personnel worldwide, as well as gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts…

Read on to find out if Grenade Carb Killa bars are something you should consider using to help you accomplish your muscle and fitness goals.

If you don’t have time to read the full review and just want to grab yourself some Carb Killa Bars, no problem, you can do that right here…

On the other hand, if you do have a few minutes spare stick around and check out the full review.

Right, let’s get started…

Here’s Our Review Of Grenade Carb Killa High Protein Bars…

A quick overview…

  • High protein bar-over 23 g of protein
  • Can be eaten any time of the day – from a delicious snack between meals, to a post workout treat that is high in protein and low in sugar. Low carbs and high protein
  • Informed choice approved and accredited
  • Contains only 1.5 g of sugar and 1.5 g of high impact carbs
  • GMO free, no hydrogenated oils

As you can see, Carb Killa bars do in fact contain a very good amount of protein.

Each 60 g bar contains over 23 g.

In comparison, one serving of most of the best protein powders, such as Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey, contains 24g of protein.

Also, when compared to protein powders, bars offer far more convenience as you don’t need to mix or shake them, or prepare them in any way.

This makes them perfect as a high protein, eat-on-the-run, anytime of day snack.

You can even use them post-workout instead of your usual protein shake if you want. Just remember these bars are very low in sugar and carbs. Each bar contains only 1.5 g of each.

Carb Killa bars are also GMO free and don’t contain any nasty hydrogenated oils. They do contain polyols so eating too many of them can have a laxative effect.

With this last point in mind the manufacturers do not recommend eating more than 2 Carb Killa bars per day.

Here’s A Closer Look At What’s In Them…grenade carb killa bars uk

grenade carb killa bars offer

As you can see they do contain some sweeteners.

Question is: Do they contain enough to make these bars unhealthy or bad tasting?

How Do They Taste?

Honestly?…

These Grenade Carb Killa bars are very probably the best tasting protein bars you will ever try.

They actually taste every bit as good, if not better than the best tasting protein powders around today.

And maybe even better than BSN Protein Crisp bars, which is saying something.

They really are that good.

The first time any of us tried them it was like… ‘there’s no f***ing way these can be any good for you!’

How wrong we were…

Eating one of these is just like eating an ordinary chocolate bar…the type that are just no good for you…

Only these are low in sugar and carbs and they are packed with quality protein and fibre.

And there’s about three separate layers to each bar, a triple decker kind of thing, full of these crunchy crispy bits all coated in chocolate, giving it a softer and crunchier texture than other protein bars.

Click here to view on Amazon…

They really do have to be tried to be believed…

And it’s not just us that think so…

Here’s What Other People Are Saying About Grenade Carb Killa Bars…grenade carb killa bars review

As you can see a massive 78% of genuine customers who left a review gave Carb Killa bars a full 5 out of 5 stars rating.

A further 10% rated them a 4 star product.

Here’s what some of them had to say in case you don’t have the time at the moment to go over to Amazon and check out all the reviews:

They aren’t all this good obviously…

But as you’ve already seen, the good far outweigh the bad and that’s what counts.

When Is The Best Time To Use Carb Killa Bars?

According to the manufacturers you can eat Carb Killa bars at any time of the day.

They recommend using them as a tasty high protein snack between meals to keep cravings under control…

…or as a low sugar post-workout ‘treat’ in place of your usual protein shake.

Price And Value For Money…

Right now you can pick up a box of 12 x 60 g Grenade Carb Killa bars for £18.95, reduced from £29.88.

This works out at £1.57 per bar.

That’s the same as you would pay for a pack of 12 x 64 g PhD Nutrition Smart Bars.

This makes them far more expensive per serving than even the worlds best selling protein powder which comes in at £0.62 per serving.

Best Place To Buy Your Carb Killa Bars…

Here’s what we recommend doing to get your Carb Killa Bars at the best price…

First, go over to Amazon and check out the product listing In full to be sure that these are the right protein-bars for you.

Pay good attention to the customer reviews, as well as the customer answered questions so that you get a balanced picture of just how these bars are performing for real people in the real world.

Even though Amazon usually has the best prices, plus they also run some pretty good deals and discounts from time-to-time too, we highly recommend heading over to eBay at this stage to see if you can pick up a better deal on them there.

It does happen and so is well with taking a couple of minutes to check, just be sure to factor in any additional delivery charges which may apply as they do make a difference to the overall price.

Amazon and eBay sellers also deliver pretty quickly, although in our experience Amazon do seem to have the edge here, especially if you take up their Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial Offer, so if you need your protein bars in a hurry, Amazon will probably be the best place to buy from.

Sellers on eBay and Amazon also make it really easy to return any items you’re not completely satisfied with too.

Final Verdict…Are They Worth It?

As far as we, and thousands of others worldwide, including professional athletes and military personnel are concerned…YES…They are definitely worth it!

Look at what you’re getting:

  • Over 23 g of quality protein in each bar.
  • Only 1.5 g of sugar and 1.5 g of carbs in each bar.
  • Unbelievable taste and texture.
  • Eat anytime.
  • High fibre.

The list goes on…

The only ‘downside’ is that when compared to protein powders they do seem a bit pricey.

Still, with all that said, we can’t recommend  Grenade Carb Killa bars highly enough.

The taste alone makes them worth every penny.

However, if you’re on a tight budget they’re probably not for you.

But if you like the price…what are you waiting for?

Our Final Rating: 4.9 out of 5 stars.
