Here’s Our Full Review Of The Quest Nutrition Protein Bar…

As you have probably already noticed, these protein bars each contain 21 g of protein. This is slightly less in comparison than the 23 g you get in Grenade Carb Killa bars, but still a decent amount.

Each Quest bar also contains 4 g Net Carbs, <1 g Sugars, 14 g Dietary Fiber,  8 g Fat and 200 Calories, along with Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Almonds and Natural Flavors.

They also have no added sugar and are sweetened with Erythritol, Sucralose and Stevia to keep the calorie count down.

Best Time To Use Them…

According to the manufacturers, you can eat your Quest Nutrition Protein Bar at any time of the day as a meal replacement, as part of a well-regulated diet.

We wouldn’t recommend using them to replace more than 2 meals per day.

Quest nutrition bars are a good source of pre-workout nutrition, full of muscle-preserving protein as well as containing carbs and fats to fuel your workouts.

They also make a pretty good post-workout snack, again the protein helps kickstart the growth and recovery process while that cars and fats help replenish energy levels until your next meal.

These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars are great by themselves…

…but you can also bake them into a delicious meal, dessert or breakfast treat.

Whichever way you choose to enjoy it, a Quest Nutrition Protein Bar is a tasty cheat treat with a great nutritional profile that you can eat at anytime of the day.

A Closer Look At What’s In Them…

You’ll notice the protein blend in these bars is very good.  Whey protein isolate is the best form of whey known. It’s higher in protein, and lower in carbs, fat and lactose than whey protein concentrate. It’s also more expensive.

Milk Protein Isolate is micellar casein, a slower digesting protein for a more sustained supply over a longer period. Great for keeping you feeling fuller and helping you resist snacking.

As you can see, these bars do contain nuts, so if you have any nut allergies we would not recommend you using these protein bars.

Texture And How They Taste…

To be honest we found these bars a little on the hard side.

Not ‘break your teeth hard’, but certainly harder than being just chewy.

We think that the taste makes up for the hardness though.

These bars really do taste pretty great…

…definitely on a par with Carb Killa, and Protein Crisp bars.

Couldn’t honestly tell you what any of the other flavours are like though…

…we never managed to get past the choc chip cookie dough ones!

Whether it’s the novelty of a new flavour, or a matter of our personal tastes, we think these Quest Nutrition Protein bars taste amazing.

Best Place To Buy Your Quest Nutrition Protein Bars…

To be sure you’re getting the best deal on your Quest Nutrition Bars, we recommend first heading over to Amazon and checking out all the product information there.

We also recommend paying particular attention to the customer reviews as well as the customer answered questions to get a balanced picture of how these protein bars are performing for real people in the real world.

Once you’ve completed your research, and you’re happy with everything and ready to buy, we then recommend going over to eBay to see if you can get a better deal there, it does happen and so is well worth spending a couple of minutes checking.

Be sure to take any additional delivery charges into account before ordering as they can tip the balance and turn the best deal into the second-best deal.

Amazon and eBay sellers both deliver pretty quickly, however we have found that Amazon has the edge here even when you don’t take their free Prime Trial Offer, so if you need your protein bars in a hurry, Amazon is the place to buy from.

Final Verdict…

We think these are a great-tasting, nutritious, high-protein meal replacement bar.

The only downside, in our opinion, is the texture in that we find them a little too hard.

Please bear in mind here that is just our opinion.  We are by no means saying they are hard enough to break your teeth…they’re not.

Otherwise, they have a great nutritional profile and a decent amount of quality proteins, both fast and slow digesting.

They are also low in carbs and fat and have only 190 calories per 60 g bar…

…making them an ideal meal replacement if you’re cutting calories at the moment.

Plus they’re also soy and gluten-free and don’t contain any added sugars.

Quest protein bars are also great to take around your workout as either a pre-workout muscle sparing fuel source or as a post-workout recovery aid.

They are also great for anyone who needs some extra protein for building muscle, and who doesn’t want to gain any fat.

We recommend Quest Nutrition Protein Bars if you’re looking for a delicious meal replacement bar that’s high in quality protein and low in carbs and fat.

Our Final Rating: 4.7 out of 5 stars
