Isopure Infusions Whey Protein Isolate Powder Review…

The main features…

  • Shake (don’t stir) & watch the natural foaming clarify in about a minute
  • Only 5 ingredients
  • 20g of whey protein isolate
  • No artificial flavors or colors
  • 90 calories per scoop
  • Sweetened only with Stevia Leaf Extract

The big difference between Isopure Infusions Whey Protein Isolate Powder and regular protein powders is that it’s not like a milk shake at all. This particular protein drink is just like a high-protein fruit juice drink, the only thing is you need to mix it like a milk shake, in a shaker cup rather than stir it in a glass with a spoon as you may expect to mix a fruit juice drink. Once well shaken it foams and clouds up before settling down to produce a clear juice.

Isopure Infusions Whey Protein Isolate Powder is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a really ‘clean’ protein powder. This stuff only has 5 ingredients, all of which are 100% natural. There are absolutely no nasties in this stuff, no fillers, just the good stuff you need for building muscle and recovering from your workouts, as well as for meeting your daily protein requirements.

You also get 20g of whey protein isolate per serving. This particular form of protein is absorbed and used by the body incredibly effectively and is particularly effective for anyone wanting to increase their muscle mass, and strength while losing fat at the same time, so if a lean and muscular physique is what you’re looking for, Isopure Infusions Whey is well worth considering.

There are also no artificial flavors, and no artificial colors in this supplement. Everything from the flavor to the sweetener is 100% natural. In fact as far as the sweetener is concerned there’s no added sugar. This stuff uses only Stevia Leaf, however Isopure have managed to sweeten the drink, without the aftertaste that you sometimes get from stevia, and it only has 90 calories per serving too, making it great for adding muscle without fat gain, or losing fat without sacrificing muscle mass, making it an incredibly viable option for pretty much everyone.

Ingredients…

Whey Protein Isolate, Natural Flavor, Citric Acid, Stevia Leaf Extract, Tumeic Extract (Color).

Performance…

How to take…

Isopure recommend adding 1 scoop of Isopure Infusions to 10-12floz/295-355ml of cold water, with or without ice, to a shaker cup and shaking vigorously. Then let it stand for around 1 minute to allow the drinks natural foaming to settle and then see it gradually clear into a colourful and translucent, refreshing protein drink.

We recommend weighing out the powder due to scoops not always being accurate as we discuss in this post.

It is not recommended to use a blender or glass and spoon to mix this drink as it will affect the mixability and overall experience…you have been warned!

When to take…

Isopure Infusions Whey Protein can be taken first thing in the morning to fire up your metabolism and recovery, before or after your workouts to enhance performance and promote recovery and growth, and also at any other time of the day you need a refreshing protein hit to help you meet your daily requirements.

How it mixes…

Isopure Infusions mixes really easily. Give it a good shake and the mixture froths and foams up for a minute before settling down and clearing to give you a smooth and light fruity drink resembling a Gatorade.

How it tastes…

It tastes pretty good. It’s got a natural fruity taste that’s maybe more tart than sweet and it also tastes really ‘clean’ too. A good thing about it is that there’s no stevia aftertaste with it. Bear in mind that it’s also not like a regular protein shake in terms of taste and some people may find it takes a little getting used to…albeit in a good way.

Side effects…

No bloating or ‘heavy’ feeling like you sometimes get from regular protein milkshakes, this one is really light and easy on the digestion, and no gas attacks either!

Customer Feedback…

The customer feedback being left for this product over at Amazon.com at the time of writing this review is pretty good. It currently has an average customer rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars from 8,063 customer reviews, and 65% of those reviews rate it a 5 star product, and a further 14% rate it 4 star.

Some of the things they like best about it are how easily it mixes, in a shaker bottle that is, some users have tried mixing it in a glass with a spoon, and even in a blender and found that it just doesn’t mix as it should and produce a clear, light and perfectly infused beverage. They also love the way it tastes, and the fact that it’s a clean protein drink which only contains 5 ingredients which are all natural.

There are also some customers who are giving this supplement just 3 stars or less because they say they don’t like the way it tastes, some users fond it to be too sweet for them. Others think that it’s not good value for money, and some experienced difficulties getting it to mix properly.

Verdict…

If you’re looking for something a little different to your regular protein powder then Isopure Infusions Whey Protein Isolate Powder may be it. Infusions is a naturally flavored, naturally sweetened protein powder that’s gluten and lactose free, with no fat or added sugars, and tastes similar to a Gatorade. It also only contains just 5 clean and natural ingredients and has just 90 calories per serving, however the protein content per serving is also lower than most other protein powders at just 20g.

We should also tell you that you can only properly mix this stuff in a shaker cup, you just won’t get it right if you try using a glass and spoon, or even a blender. That being said, once you have it mixed it tastes great, goes down really easily, doesn’t sit heavily at all and doesn’t cause any bloating or gas or any other unpleasant side effects.

And, right now it’s getting some pretty good feedback from customers over at Amazon.com where it seems to be selling really well, and has an average customer rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars from 8,063 reviews, 65% of which are 5 star, and a further 14% being 4 star, which is pretty impressive.

Bottom line…for a refreshingly light alternative to milkshake style protein powders that’s clean and natural with no fillers and no nasties, we highly recommend checking this one out…
